Bambuco

Chief Photographer and Rigger

Bambuco was an Australian based company that used qualified rock climbers to construct large scale structures from 10 metre Moso Chinese bamboo for International Arts Festivals worldwide. The installations combined theatre, sculpture and architecture as well as providing support and space for aerial performance on or within the structure. Team members collaborated and trained local community members to work alongside. Each project was a one-off design. Bambuco’s architecturally sound structures were strong enough to withstand cyclonic winds.
